Just like new smartphones and tablets, Apple launches a brand new iteration of their smartphone operating system, each year. The current OS, iOS 10 is hugely popular among the users mostly for the unique features and the simplicity of the user interface.
So after the massive success of the iOS 10, now fans, as well as the tech pundits, are eagerly waiting for the next version of this series, the iOS 11 to unveil. Compatible Devices for Apple New OS iOS 11
Just like the previous year, Apple is eyeing to announce the all new iOS 11 during the annual event of the company, the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Which is going to take place on 5th of June in San Jose. This annual event is making a comeback to the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose after 15 long years, and previously this auditorium was the home of the WWDC from 1998 to 2002.
Although the iOS 11 will be announced in June, we have to wait until September. The new iPhones will be launching and along with it will come the iOS 11. The tech giant will start rolling out the software to the current iPhones only after the new installment of the iPhone hit the market shelves. So, in this article, we have shed some lights on the iOS 11 compatibility means which devices will support the upcoming software and which will not.

iOS 10 is compatible with iPhone 5 or the phones released later. But the iOS 11 won’t support iPhone 5. Instead, it will be compatible with iPhone 5S and the phones released later, including the upcoming iPhone which is going to be unveiled in September 2017. So if you don’t know which version of the iPhones you are using, just visit the “Settings” of your iPhone and click on the “About Phone” section. Here you will get all the details about the handset you are currently using. And if your iPhone doesn’t support the forthcoming iOS 11. Then we suggest to switch on to those devices which will be compatible with the iOS 11.
