On the third day, continue your journey to Mumbai, the financial capital of India. Along the way, make a stop at the beautiful Venna Lake in the city of Mahabaleshwar, a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and boating opportunities.
Once you reach Mumbai, take some time to explore the city and its many attractions. Some of the must-visit places include the Gateway of India, a historic monument that was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911, and the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains rock-cut temples dating back to the 6th century.
The road conditions between Bangalore and Mumbai are generally good, with well-paved roads and well-maintained highways. However, there are some stretches of the road that may require a little extra caution. For example, the Deccan Plateau, which is the first leg of the journey, is known for its rolling hills and steep inclines. Drivers should be prepared for sharp turns and steep inclines on this stretch of the road.
